Teaching Practice

We are involved in the continuing training of doctors who have already completed their initial hospital posts. Known either as a Registrar or a Foundation 2 doctor they are now gaining experience in general practice. As part of their training we may ask for your consent to video the consultation. If for any reason you would prefer not to take part in a video session please do make your view known to the receptionist or practitioner and we will be more than happy to respect your wishes.

A foundation doctor is a grade of medical practitioner undertaking a two-year, general postgraduate medical training programme which forms the bridge between medical school and specialist/general practice training. Being a foundation doctor is compulsory for all newly qualified medical practitioners.
