Prescriptions

Remember always to store medicines out of the reach of children. Please read the bottle carefully before taking any medication and if in any doubt consult your Pharmacist or GP. Replace any out of date medicines and return them to your local chemist for disposal

Repeat Prescriptions


It is possible to receive repeat prescriptions for medication you are taking without necessarily seeing a Doctor. For this purpose you should present a written request for the medication you require at least two working days (48 hours) before it is needed. You may also request a repeat prescription on-line. Please note that Prescription Requests will not be taken over the telephone.

Prescription Collection

Prescriptions can be collected from the surgery at any time during opening hours. Alternatively you can make an arrangement with Alliance/Moss Chemist at The Mount Parade or The Duke of York Parade for your prescriptions to be collected by them.

You can request that your repeat prescription is posted to you by providing a stamped addressed envelope.

Prescription Reviews

Patients on long term therapy will be asked to attend a six monthly review.
